Kentucky Wins Over Time Thriller vs Mississippi State

UK traveled to Starkville, Mississippi to take on the Bulldogs of Mississippi State and pulled out an 81-75 victory. This win ends a 3-game skid to the Bulldogs who Kentucky has not defeated since 2007 with Tubby Smith still the head coach of Kentucky. There were many stars of the show tonight for the Cats. Patrick Patterson was aggressive on the offensive end of the ball and had many clutch baskets for the Cats. Liggins key defense and a 3-point basket when the Bulldogs had a seven-point lead as the game was winding down. Cousins proved to be too much for the Bulldogs to handle with 19 points and 14 rebounds. John Wall was clutch and proved again to many why he is the favorite for player of the year. Wall had a near triple-double with 18 points, 10 rebounds, and 8 assists. An instant classic game in UK's history that was ruined by classless Mississippi State fans From the calls and text messages cussing and calling Cousins racial slurs. The chants "referees suck" all game, and the water bottles and stuff thrown on the court. Kentucky will travel to Nashville to take on the Vanderbilt Commodores and look to complete the season sweep over Vanderbilt.
